Get a TC and you will launch much better. I prestage..get my rpms up to 3500 which puts me already into boost..I then stage, build the rpms to 3700 and then put my foot through the floor when that last yellow light comes on. I have been consistant with 1.7 60'...seems to work for me

great info... can't wait to get back to the track to try this. before i was braking and giving it a little gas but not near enough to be into boost at all becaus i didn't wanna F$%$ anything up. If I can get down to a 1.7 60ft I'll be in the 12's which was my goal

Without a TC upgrade(stall) you're not going to be able to get your RPMS up as high as I do.On the stock TC anything over 26-2800 rpms(somewhere around there) you're just going to break the tires loose while your sitting on the line.

well i tried it today and it works. I don't feel like its bogging off the line like it was beforeI got it up to about 3 psi and launched it. BTW is this bad for any aspect of the car if I just do it a couple of times a month at the Strip?

P.S. 40psi on street tires is way too much for racing at the 1/4 mile.Try around 25psi
