That does it for me then I'll probably take it to the track one more time and try about three runs like that just to get a 12 second time slip and then call it a day/night

In a MT, how do you keep from rolling past the staging lights when you let your foot off the brake? Do you use the parking brake or just hope the area is level and the car doesn't roll forward? I've had this happen to me a few times and it throws me off.
Also, does the above situation trip the clock or just the reaction time? thanks.

When does ET begin? Your car effectively has a rolling start of one foot before the ET timer begins.
