Well I finally got to go to the track with my new 2007 c6z51 mn6 corvette...it has 604 miles on it so far...I have the vararam snake charmer, vararam tb spacer and predator tuner (still has stock map but I changed the fan settings)...I started off the day in competition mode and continually trapped low 113s...I think turned off both and the car began to trap 114-115 with the occasional 113 if I tried to hotlap it...my best slip is listed below...I am pretty happy with this as a baseline...I will be going back friday with some cooler weather (today it was in the 70s) and some lower tire pressure and hopefully I can pull a 1.9-2.0 and get a 12.3 or lower out of her as I know its in her and if I have to I will tune it a bit...I have a 160 tstat, kooks 1 7/8 header and offroad xpipes sitting at the house but I haven't had time to install them yet...I also have a bottle of nitrous that may go in the car at some point...

Wow thats a sexy car. Love to see people put new cars to use like that. I was really unaware that non-Z06 C6's were all that fast. Thats just awesome. I knew they had 400hp and all, but you just dont hear about them as frequently!

I would like to see a video after you get your exhaust and such on. Its going to sound pretty serious.

 

thanks man, half the issues with vette track times is the owners suck at driving, they only take them out once a week and it shows when they go to the track...I only buy cars to use them, their are no garage queens for me

 

You need more seat time. That 60ft and 1/4 ET needs improvement.

Sharing times is cool, copy/pasting a registry is a little overbaord lol...of course what do I know

 

I only did that to show, I definitely have room to improve, I have only been in the car for a couple days...just showing that the car is going pretty strong for the mods it has and the fact that the ecu hasn't fully learned yet...sorry I was getting pissy, im tired and off to bed for this guy...

Car has low 12's in it easy, Im sure you know that. BTW-I cant believe C6 Vettes have run 13's @ 108mph! Not only can that guy not drive hes dumb for posting that online lol....

the big issue with the vettes is that they go into limp mode very easily, tire pressure low, too hot, knock, etc and most owners have no idea and then the other is that most can't drive and then there are some that just get stuck with super slow tracks...

yea i have only had the car for a week...and first 500 were pretty babied so this was first day of running through gears and launching it (first time with tcontrol off too haha)

nyirp, its way upstate NY near my college, its a tad slower then island or etown, with my evo I was about .1 slower...a lot has to due with the poor track prepping but its a fun track because its very lokey and not a lot of people there most days...

 

island isnt all that good with prepping the track either etown is by far the best

 

yea island is hit or miss but i always have my best times there for whatever reason...
