Default Optimum shift points on the 07 HR

Where are you guys shifting with the HR motor? Are you red lining 1st 2nd and 3rd or are you short shifting any gears?

I'm looking to pick up some time in 1/4 seeing that I am one of the slowest 07's on the board.

PS I know my 60' needs work.

Question

Its a worthwhile question, but I think that another question is more important:

How far does the RPM drop between shifts.

Most properly shifted tight spaced trannies drop maybe 2K between shifts....obviously you can change the gears and space them tighter but thats a pretty good rule and I believe the Z follows that for all 5 gear changes allowing it to stay in the powerband

IMO anyway
