New personal best
Im really excited, I hit a 13.1 @ 109 tonight with the vortech.
heres a little background
03 G35 6mt Coupe, full interior
19 inch wheels with street tires
vortech with 3.12 pulley
tuned with a utec
i know its not the greatest but it seems to be on par or better than the 350z's with the same mods

Blackbird CPV35, congrats on your times!
Can you please show us a timeslip? Or atleast give us your 60ft?
How much power are you putting down? Track conditions & elevation?
That should help us alot to see where you really stand.
Jeremy, I'm sure they are more modified than this G. Or atleast had a better driver.
We would need more specs in order to see how they compare.
I'm sure the only difference we will ever see in terms of performance between the G & Z (assuming same year for year, same engine for engine), if they have the exact same setup, drag race at the same track, and same or equvalent driver, the G35 should only be ~0.3 seconds slower on the E.T and ~1/2 mph slower at the trap.
(Excluding the VQ35HR)
But this is all theoretical & mathematical stuff. In reality, the best mod is the driver mod
I'm sure you already know this though.

For some odd reason the 60ft timing wasnt working that night. th car to the left of me was an Evo and he barely got me off the line so I would assume I cut a 2.0. Also drag racing is pretty much the big thing in Indiana, so I've been doing it fr almost 8 years, I even won the bracket racing class at the biggest import event held here, and I had a cast on my right hand with the 6mt, so I wouldnt say I am a bad driver
The tune i was running was from Sisith here on the forums, I havent got a chance to run it on the dyno yet, but he says it is a very conservative tune for 91 octane and i use 94 out here.
when I said i was on par with the 350z's I was just looking at the top times post and saw that alot of the 350's were running similar times, and thats not too bad since I have full interior.
I was also running on 285/35/19 street tires with my heavy *** work VS-XX's 19x9.5 in front and 19x10.5 rear so that made it pretty hard to get traction.
as for the track conditions:
Ambient air temps were ~90 degrees
Elevation at the track is 700 feet
Track was barely prepped
heres the time slip

Hey man, nice times! Were you at the track this past Friday night as well? I saw a G coming down the return lane as I was waiting in line. It caught me off guard since I didn't see any other VQ's out there all night until then. If that was you, were you able to improve on your times?

you better hit 12's soon
I have the vortech 3.12 pully and 19" rims w/ street tires.
I ran a 13.4 when I hade the stock wheels and tires. I hade 0 tracktion. my 60' was 3.0 seconds! I also weigh 300lbs and have 200lbs of stereo equipment in my car. so I know that the vortech 3.12 is a 12second setup. just look at the thread w/ the slips. You can do it! try and get your 60' into the under 2 seconds and you will be golden.
