Default Drag Times??? Too Slow!

So I knew some people having a drag day last week. It was about 100+ degrees and very humid. I just don't get my drag times. Why are they so slow with all my mods? (Mods can be seen below in sig)

FASTEST SLIP
60' -----2.130
1/8th---9.222
MPH----78.63
1/4-----14.211
MPH----99.75

SECOND FASTEST SLIP
60' -----2.136
1/8th---9.213
MPH----78,46
1/4-----14.215
MPH----99.49

THIRD FASTEST SLIP
60' -----2.198
1/8th---9.255
MPH----78.31
1/4-----14.259
MPH----99.19

Atleast you are consistant.. Its the heat and your 60ft needs some work. But if you running street tires, that can be tough. Once it gets cooler you will have a better time.

You are picking up 21mph in the back 1\8th. Your shifting can improve aswell. You want to pick up around 22 to 24mph. Are you powershifting?

When i was still n/a i would trap 99/100 in 100 degree weather and then trap 102/103 in 50 degree weather. The temps are making your cars ecu pull alot of timing.

Also knock that 60ft down some and you will go a couple more tenths.

You just answered your own question

If you give me the location of the track (zip code), elevation, the date & time, I can calculate the DA's for you just for your future reference.

Only hardcore racers are out there is July and August. When I am dumb, and decide to race in the summer, this is the best that I can do. I can run 13.4X at the beginning and end of the season. But in the summer, forget it.

I think your S2k Antenna, PIAA CF Wipers, and CF Dash Kit are slowing you down!

Density Altitude was ~2190 feet. Corrected, that is about a ~13.81 @ 102.55mph.

Unless my math is hosed today. Still early and on my first cup of joe.

So I can expect to trim .4 off my time in the fall?

I don't know about hardcore racers......just people who shouldn't expect the best possible time from their vehicle.

I went there yesterday and could only get in 2 runs, both of them were in the 15s =( i just kept spinning and spinning. it's hard to get the technique down when they only give you 2 chances to run. btw, how'd you go on the 2nd? it doesn't even show MIR as being open on the 2nd (on their online schedule)

There was a Car School I think (ITT TECH) who rented out the track that day. There were like 70ish cars running. So I got lots of runs out of it.
