Just wanted to see what kind of cars you guys smoke when your on the track

i'll give you a list of cars that we can beat stock for stock with equal drivers.

-mazda rx8
-honda s2000
-toyota celica gts
-99-04 mustang gt
-05-07 mustang v6
-rsx type s
-mazdaspeed 6
-06+ eclipse v6
-1997-1999 bmw m3

It all depends though.

 

We smoke all cars in the same price range but NOT the ones that have turbos/supercharger (i.e. we can't smoke Evo's, STI's, Mazda speed 6, etc)

 

Not camaro ss, gto 5.7 and def not the 6.0, 05+ mustang gt's,

 

Straight track or one with turns? If there are turns, then scratch a couple or so off that list. Since we're considering equal drivers for the bench race win.

ok, as much as i am tired of noob threads like this that pop up ever so often, he is just asking a legitimate question. A question of curiosity, and he got some normal responses regarding his question. If threads like this bother you so much, don't respond.

Maybe we shoould open up a noob section that is devoted to threads like this.

 

I'm talking about stock for stock with equal drivers. I wanna know which car you think out of that list you can beat? Unless you are talking about your modified z which is worthless to this thread since so many factors can come to play on answering the OP question.

 

I realize that what you're talking about. But the OP's question did not mention stock for stock, or equal drivers. As for your list I can and have beaten all the cars you mentioned, some off the spray.

i've beaten all of the above stock for stock at the strip, including a supercharged gto, and mustangs are a no contest

 

Mazda Speed6? My friend at work has one. It's close but my Z is quicker and handles better too.

 

I don't get a chance to smoke anyone. If I am racing a slower car such as #1857 above, I have to spot the driver. In this race 3.0 seconds. So its always very close at the finish line.

 

Ferrari Enzos, Mclaren F1's, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg CCX, Those big rocket boosters on the space shuttle...
