You in CFBMW?

I promise it wasn't Frank's car, although he has fought for a 13 flat, but anyone running 14+ in an M is doing something wrong.

325's are high 15 low 16 second cars. I don't go to bithlo to run though. I'm running at Gainesville Raceway, just grew up in Deland and had an E36 before. Thats about right for an E36 and I would have questioned it had you not said the guy was cross shopping M3's. Franks best I think was ~13.2/13.3, but he hasn't been in a while and that was with a 2.2 60' so he isn't getting the best the car has. On a good night up here he could probably get a 13.0/12.99 run, all hes gotta do is get the car to grip off the line.

I'll send you a PM if I go to any of the meets down there, but its unlikely, I'm really busy with school and work, have been working 30 hour weeks lately just to get a project done (weekends before football games and stuff gets old).

Nope... not if the DA's are high.

It would have to be terrible conditions, its Orlando, theres no way that a G35 will outrun the E46 M3 at a track that badly unless the G35 is boosted. G35's are not quick cars compared to an M3, an 07 Z is a MUCH better comparison, and I haven't found any G's (aside from the turbo/SC cars) that would even come close to beating me, even the G37 doesn't do it, so that throws the DA's being bad right out the window.

read everything on that site, its directed at vette's but all of it also applies to z's

and don't bother with ur tire pressure till ur hitting at least 2.0 60ft's, after that u can start playing with tire pressure to see what will give u better results. i'm with peak350, don't lower it at all.

Just curious, you launching above or below 5000 RPM's?

The track had no VHT to speak of for my last runs (and my best runs LOL) so I had to launch at 4,500, but I've gotten better 60' times launching it higher.

I know Veetec was launching in that area, I'm curious to see if you've got the same approach.
