i am sure some axles are stronger for some different years, we both have 03s that are launching hard here...
good luck

What I do is blip the gas usually from say 4000-4500rpm's watch the tree and when the light drops I go from blipping therottle to slowly applying it while letting out the clutch. It makes the transition very smooth for me, and has worked for my buddies as well. When I hold a set rpm @ the line I bog when launching. Aceman here in MD ran .1 faster 60ft's immediately after using this technique, he is now running 13.0 NA...
I know this is an old thread. I just wanted to say thanks for the tip. I will have to try that next time and see if things come out better for me.

LOL-yeah that was funny, the guy was amazed...I was planning on doing it with the old set up with much less power, I just didnt get anything more than the one semi-clean run.
For now the car is on the backburner to a few other things. But, sometime next season I'd like to put a cage in it, and accomplish my goal of running 10's at my low boost-which is now 75whp stronger than my old set-up. In time I will do it!

Bah, you take too long. Just go do it! Or let me borrow your car for a night at the strip (I can't imagine how your car must feel like with a good launch).
2200 miles since May-800 of those being the drive back from Forged. Ive been cheating on my car with the motorcycle. And now that its freezing out its worthless to drive anything past 1/2 throttle or it will go sideways...I have plans for it next season
