High 10s on just DR's at near 130mph...

11.1 @ 128mph (mph maybe off 1 or 2) bone stock.

Something tells me yes.

shaving 1.5 seconds off with WORSE tires would be something for the record books.

750 HP, stock wheels, tires and suspension.

The guy telling me the story about "his" car I believe to be full of ****. I doubt he even owns a C6 Z06. I was just trying to decide if it was even possible.

Tires are definately the deciding factor on that one. I'm saying no due to traction problems. Launching that beast with stock tires would either spin for days or have to bog so hard off the line to get going.

DR's mid 9's? I'll say no, people dont understand how much power/traction/driving comes into play from 11.5 to even 10.9, let alone from high 10's for the BEST time stock to mid 9's....more power isnt a guarantee it will happen, just as DR's arent a guarantee the owner will get the car to hook up.

I know of several cars (Terminator Cobra, Blown Viper) that have gone 9s on Drag Radials. Think about what has been accomplished on a 10.5 inch tire!

Imo, definitely possible to have an SC C5Z or C6Z pulls 9's, supercharged, but not on street tires...

Who goes to the dragstrip with a 9.0 - 10.0 second car and runs on street tires? Seriously.

Stock wheels mid 9's hell no. My estimate is lots of time spinning, maybe with drag radials an a good 60" if he can drive.

i don't think so. I've seen a lot of videos where they were setting records with street tires and these were full raced out cars and they are hitting 9's and low 10's. Not sure about that corvette.
