Default Z vs Mazda 6 Speed

I recently checked out the stock times for a mazda 6 speed and it looks like it would be a drivers race on paper. Is this true? Anyone here have some experience racing against one. I am talking stock for stock 07 Z vs 06 speed6. The speed 6 is a pig, its huge and runs on a turboed version of the 2.3L engine that my DD mazda 3 has. Lemme know if these 2 cars run similar times.

There is no “we” about it. With respect “you” would lose. You have no racing experience.

I think he was joking. An 07 350Z wouldn't have any trouble with a Mazdaspeed 6, except perhaps off the line.

Edit: Saw his above post.

About the only time that I race north of Maryland is All-Nissan Day at Raceway Park. Is that in New Jersey?

Keep us in mind when you go to atco, meaning throw a post in the NE section cause alot of us were trying to get a group to go awhile ago it might be fun when spring time rolls around again.

“Raceway Park” in “Englishtown” is the same.

Some people call them different things an some dont even pay attention to the name of the place. The guy that works with me works at Englishtown on weekends an nights an i dont think i've ever heard him call the place raceway park.

Here's just a friendly reminder - posting street racing stories will result in a ban.

I simply asked in the drag section, in a 1/4 mile run if anyone has any experience racing against a 6speed. I never said anything about in the street or from a roll since thats not possible at a strip. Oh and dave I didnt lose btw, so I answered my own question yesterday, but thanks for assuming I cant drive.

Ain't nobody said it was you who posted street racing content son. No need to get defensive. Chill.

I already took care of the street racing posts.

I guess its a drivers race really then. I would like to think that if I lined up against a stock Mazdaspeed6 that I would beat it. Havent had the opportunity yet though.
