the question is, is this sound caused by the short shifter ? :/ :/
dude i dont think so that its the B&M, cause i had the same sound on the
3rd gear ''on stock shifter'' so its 100% syncro .

I would say hopefully its under warranty still, and take it to the dealership. Would be a free fix if its under warranty.

Short shifters are always notchier, shorter throws at the expense of more leverage (force) needed to shift. Its why I never run them, I hate them. In previous cars I have also grenaded tranny's in 1 month of use, the fulcrum point gets changed and its not always optimal.

Sorry to hear you had that much trouble.

My Neighbor growing up had one on his Stang.
I was never a big fan, and he constantly had tranny trouble with it in.

Glad you took it out.
Good luck with your car man

Chances are you do NOT shift any faster or better with it. . .
If it makes up for lack of shifting skills, then how can you say the chances are it doesn't help...

And another line of thinking could be, if it helps make up for lack of shifting skills then couldn't it help improve a driver with good shifting skills?

I know for a fact it decreases my time between gears!

I think tranny issues are more of a product of driver abuse than B&M's short shifters.
