eh, I was really hoping to trap near 104/105mph. All of the local guys tell me that NPR (where I went) is a horrible track compared to the other local track; Gulfport, and that they never run good times at NPR. I may go to the gulfport track just to experience the difference and see if the track is truly any faster.
Overall, I had a lot of fun; definitely wish the car was a little faster (or atleast louder lol). I miss the open wastegate dump of my old 240.
That will surely be the cure, although I really dont plan on going back again. Drag racing as never really been my thing. I do have a solo2 event this weekend , can't wait for that. And then next sunday ANOTHER solo2!
Shouldnt you learn to drive straight before you go to turns?
hahaha, lol. Thanks 'pops'. Yea I guess I should get the easy **** down before I yank off the training wheels eh? Launching plays a part in autox as well though, so learning how to properly launch a car quickly is important in both types of racing.

Sup Rob. I've been to the Gulport dragway and I think it's a little easier to launch there. I ran there when my car was stock. Then I ran at NPR stock. I was having more trouble with spinning at NPR. Gulfport was stickier. This was when I had open diff.
The cenla event on labor day was like that Rob. We had a starting line for the car and a second starting line for time. We would launch and when we passed the second line the time started.

Well then in that case the launch still plays a role in the time, unless of course there is like a 90'degree turn right after the start line.
Have you ever taken yours out to the 1/4 dustin? I know I ran lance a few times in Olivias o6. I THINK the best he managed was 14.1@99.xx mph. And he got me out of the whole every time.
