Default Track

I went to the track last night and my best run was 14.2 I only have Fujita cai.One thing the stock tires are sucks I spin those tires from first gear ,second and third on a track.Every time I shift I can feel the car sliding side to side I can see in the rear view mirror the people moving even in third gear. May be is the track ,but others car with street tire don't spin the tires that much ,jaja but they don't have the power I have . Just sharing mi night at the track.I beet a GTO twice.

Yes I would post the time slip as soon as possible I need to scan it.Is incredible how the car pull as soon the tires come back on traction .the GTO was almost even with me ,and start to catch up ,but as soon I gain traction again I pull away almost to the end ,even he finish with higher strap speed.I will put the slip as soon as posible.

Here are some examples of 1/4 mile times on OEM tires:

Do you think that it might be the driver not the tires?

If you are spinning the tires this bad, then you are launching way to high in first gear. Try launch around 2500rpm and go from there.

Let us know how you do. Lets see some time slips.

At lest post a breakdown of the slip. A basically stock Z spinning 3rd is silly. Go around the water box, spin the tires a little to clean them off.

The car is running well picking up 22 MPH in the second 660 feet. Get that 60 foot time down to 2.0 seconds and you will be good.

Must not be that good of a track man. With your times/mph you should not be spinning in 3rd gear.

Also like aceman said bring your launching rpm down if you are spinning that bad.
