fastest 5AT 1/4 mile times?
I've been wondering what the fasterst 5AT 1/4 mile times have been?
I read somewhere that it is 14.102 and somewhere else that its 13.98? Can anyone else help me out with some more info?

From what Ive been reading the auto Z specs and the manual Zs are so close. But the 6sp has a higher trap speed. I guess the gears are closer and the axle ratio is lower then the 5AT. The torque converter suppose to sap the power? I'm going back to the track one more time and power brake the launch. Not from idle(750rpm). Possible to get under 14 with my bone stock Z.

ET Streets, Injen CAI , Crawford Plenum, Grounding Kit.
was 13.6
13.1 on street tires with juice once (that was fun.)
13.9 , 14.0's were an every day thang before tires and N20
I am testing out a beta mod in 2 or 3 days that is gonna put me close to 11.9 though! All data will be revealed after being cleared by the maker and installer.
I'm expecting minumum 390RWHP but more importantly much more torque (I beleive I am at about 313 TQ now.)

Don't waste your money on a CAI if you plan on going FI because it will be replaced. Trying to help, the stock intake is fine unless you have cash and need more torque for awhile. Throw in a K&N and stash that 200 away. My 2 cents. 200 is half of a set of Borla's almost.

thanks!
I'm going to try and empty out everything next time, the only thing is the audio system (sub woofers) i have mounted in the stock locations i put 2 10" woofers behind the seats so they arent going out but they are high Q light *** woofers maybe 8 pounds a piece.
I'm looking to see if anyone has any suggestions motor wise (upgrades/mods) something else i could do for a couple of tenths off!!
Let me know!
Thanks,
Erich

You mean do a burn out or not hook? Any car can not hook. If you mean a burn out then:
Not unless you disable torque management
A. Pull the break fuse
B Hard wire a switch like I did

i have a question regarding my 5at. I've read in posts that if you power bake in this car, the ecu will cut off 30% of the power, or something like that. I was just wondering if any of you had tried both at the strip. From a stand still, when i just hit the gas without power braking, TCS off and all, i get full traction, not even a squeak from the tires. But when i power brake to about 2500 rpm, my tires break loose for a little while. Does that mean by power braking, im putting more power to the ground, even with the power cut off? Anyone else experiencing the same?
