did your 245 held up when launching hard? how hard did you launch your car?

no reason to go larger than a 275 at all. you will get cupping when you dropp the pressure and will not make full use of the tread

The compound and sidewall flex of your tire will make far more difference than adding 20 mm of width that probably wont even touch the ground.

going from a run flat 245 to a DR 245 is a massive difference if you use the tire correctly. I.E. 16-20 psi with a smoky burnout and lots of practice on launching without bogging your car. you should be able to pull 1.9s all day without launching correctly. Learning to drive could get you as low as 1.6s depending on track prep, power and technique

Yeah, I gave up on that idea. I think I'm going to go back to slicks when I get enough money.
