06 wheel advice?
Ok took my car to the drag strip sat night for the first time ever and i'm addicted!!!! Problem was traction. My 60' sucks and i can't launch hard at all! Wheel spin is the enemy. Got in about a dozen runs (not bad for 20$).
My questions are this. I wanna get DR's but not sure on a couple things.
1)how many runs can u get on DR's on average?
2)can i get DR's for the stock 18" rims or should i buy some 15's if they arnt too expensive (sizes would help here too - non -brembo)
3) How do u get ur stuff to the track? (Was thinking of takeing out passenger seat and putting 2 tires and jack there)

Later consider ET Street tires: many are DOT legal and can be driven to and from the dragstrip.

1) Depends how bad you burn them up at the track, and if you use them on the steet.
2) You can find some 18" BFG's but its not necessary. Some light weight 16s or 17s woudl be nice.
3) I would just take out my passenger seat and put the tires there. They do fit in the back as well though. Its just a really tight squeeze.
I would agree with David though. You really should practice a bit more with the tires you have right now. If they still have tread on them, then they are more then likely still doable at the track. You just need a little more practice.

Practiced racers are not necessarily the fastest, but they are consistent.

). I'm just really wanting to improve my launch and 60'.
