Nobody cares about your 1/4 times if you're not running a Z.

I agree that this should just be for Z's, but that is kind of harsh.

Fine, be that way. I didn't want to enter into the contest anyways.

I went to the 1/8 mile track Friday July 18, ran 9 times (my first time at the race track). Here are three of the times. All the times are grouped very close to each other.

PS The Mustang that I was against, I couldn't tell you if he was a 5 litre or GT, but when I got back, I asked some of the guys who were watching the race what I raced, and they said it was a stock Mustang. In hindsight I wish I had tracked him down. If anybody can tell from his time on the slip, I'd like to know which model he had.

A GT is a 5.0. The other 5.0 you may be thinking of it the Notchback aka "trunk model", that looks like a 4-cyl but has the 5.0. Regardless, a nice kill

with tcs on my best run was a 14.8
without tcs, best run was a 14.22@98mph
only mod (if that) is a grounding kit.
must find away around that 1st gear wheel hop!
This was also my first time at the track, good basline for now...

I lowered my tire pressure to 25 pounds, took the spare tire out. It was somewhere around 91 degrees air temp and elevation is probably 6 feet above sea level.

After the finish line with the Mustang, I was surprised that he continued at racing speed, like he wanted to look like he won by getting to the slip pick-up first. (IMO) It was unnerving to keep pushing to the end of the track, while he was in my blind spot.

But maybe his accelerator stuck and his brakes failed. I didn't see him again that night.

Default Testing Wednesday

Weather Permitting we will be at Englishtown Raceway, NJ for Testing.

Drag Slicks, bumped up the first stage of NOS to 225 with bigger injectors, and the second stage is set at 75.

Launch tests show a huge improvment over the radials.

11.?? seconds he we come
