F'ing sweet! There's hope for me yet. So far, my best is 1.97. How much of a burnout did you do to heat them up?

I just did a quick 2-3 second burnout...just until I saw a little smoke.

what kind of rubber would be better to go with if i am wanting the stickiest thing possible (i am more concerned with cornering, not drag), but good tread wear? wet weather traction is somewhat important, but the dry cornering is top priority.

BFG g-Force T/A KD
BFG g-Force T/A KDW
BFG g-Force T/A Drag Radial
Nitto 555
Toyo T1-R
any other suggestions

i would really like everyone's opinion on these tires because i am at a complete toss up.

The BFG KDs are some of the stickiest street tires out there handling wise...but they suck in the rain...

The BFG KDW is slightly less sticky in the dry but much better in the rain.

I'd stay away from the BFG DR and the Nitto 555 as far as handling is concerned. and the Toyo T1-R will probably perform around the area of the KDW.

8.060 @ 154.6 that is 20psi & shifting @ about 7,500 and let of right after i put it in fourth and pulling the chutes early

We are really excited with the VQ engine and we are doing extensive R&D, we have already made over 1600 hp. Can't wait to take it to a track with some warm temps so we can hit hard with some 45-50 psi of boost.

those are great times.

i was getting really excited until i read you guys arent using the vq35. i can understand the need for a lighter car, but i would really like to see what the vq can handle. so far i havent seen over 700hp on a vq block.
