Dave w nobody cares if you have mad drag racing skillz. Quit trying to take advantage of this guy. I don't get it, racing novice drivers increases your ego? If you are so experienced then why are you posting a best-timeslip of 13.5? I have been to the track maybe 2 times in my life and I managed to get a 13.7..

DA on your run? Look at my DA, dumbass. The top times were ran in much better DA. I also have a Touring, which weighs more than a base model by 100 pounds. I guess that means that everyone I've beat on the top 25 sucks then, is that what you are saying?

Learn to read and quit huggin' on this newb's nuts. He wanted to say I'm a novice like him, I called him out. BTW, nice way to sugar coat your run... 13.799 is more like 13.8, not 13.7. I guess that .001 makes it ok to round it down a tenth...

Because so many factors are in play in regards to dyno's.

-Brand of equipment
-Ambient test conditions
-Honesty of the operators
-Condition of the vehicle being tested

You can take your car to three different dyno's on the same day and I'd be willing to bet you would receive 3 totally different results.

That's why I say they are only good for the reasons listed.

As you see Alberto's post, he said that he trapped 106 with 265 whp. Therefore, that is in the range of a stock HR. However, not everyone out there is capable of utilizing these 265whp and running 106mph. There are only couple of cases as you see. I was probably bouncing the rev limiter since all three times i was trying to get thru the 1/4 in 3rd gear, i dont know.
107mph With a measly DE and a few bolt-ons

If I drove a 300whp Z in decent conditions in MD it wouldnt trap less than 109mph on a bad day.

Ok professional driver who runs 0.2 sec faster and 2mph+ slower trap than a novice drag racer. I see your potential. Carry on and have fun

Thank you for showing your intelligence. If I can run a faster time with a lower trap that makes me a "better" driver.

IBTL

BTW, my time if corrected to match your DA puts me in the 13.3's, You'll never see that even with your imaginary 300 whp. Neither will your nuthugger. Prove me wrong...

You should stick to what you know. Trap speeds vary at every track from the way they are measured, and also from density altitude and other factors. The fact that he ran the time he did with that low of a trap speed says a lot about his driving. His run is great for a stock z in a density altitude of 918 feet. From what I seen in your timeslip, you shouldn't be criticizing anyone.

I knew you were going to make those lame excuses.

I suck ***** at racing and I am close to your best time-slip. Quit trying to convince yourself that you have God-like racing skills.

Hrmm, if several owners have been cutting low 13's, completely stock, I would think the tires aren't that bad...

It's obvious you suck. especially if you consider that personal best 2.2xx 60' time to be close to me, LOL. DA is not a lame excuse. Cars can vary by over a second from DA. Go research douchebag, you are only digging a grave. Until you can beat me, I DO have "God-like" racing skills compared to you.

The first post in the sticky threads section that you have obviously never read:

I'm no pro myself, but at least I know what factors are important and don't just look at the 60', ET, and trap (they only know of those 3 things from reading). These noobs don't realize certain places have a much better DA (along with other important factors) than other places, hence the varying times/speeds from different regions.
I'm done with you until you can make a post with a level of intelligence over that of a 5th grader.

BTW, even in equal DA, .25 seconds for stock cars in the 1/4 is NOT as close as you would like to think. It's over 2-1/2 car lengths. That = in anyone's book. But it's all good, at least you can say you were close... LOL.

stock tires are not bad at all if you accually know how to drive your car.. i hung a 2.001 on stock tires at 26 psi.. with the only mods being removed air filters and removed axleback on a STOCK AUTOMATIC ROADSTER which weights over 3500 pounds without me in it.. its just takes practice.. and more practice.. youll get it.

well stock tires at the factory recommended psi at 35psi cold sucks for drags. I've got 60ft's of 2.3-2.5 off of stock tires on stock pressure. 23k miles of wear.
