went to the track
Well, i dont know if i am a tard or not, but i just couldn't hook for **** again.
This is what i pulled, i will scan the sheet tomorrow. I want some input please to analyze this slip and probably a lesson
R/T - .071
60' - 2.275
330 - 6.032
1/8 - 9.061
mph - 82.09
1000 - 11.614
1/4 - 13.78
mph - 104.57
I had only three runs that night and two i red lit it. I am still learning, but it seems like this process takes longer with me. The entire night i was pretty consistent with time(even though i red lit it i still had like 13.8 at 104.60).
My mods are JWT intakes, JWT clutch/fly, test pipes, aps exhaust, technosquare tune, and UR pulley. I run 18" nismo wheels with KDW 285/30's.
Thanks

Good job and nice trap! This looks just like my time-slip..you have an HR engine?
I also had a 2.2 60ft and 13.7 ET. If you want to get a better times I recommend you work on your launch technique and get the 60ft down to 2.0. Once you get it down, it should be downhill from their.

I didn't realise that this is a HR motor but still you did good.
DA plays a big role in 1/4 mile trap speed. Nothing you can do about it. Still room for improvement off the line, and the first to second gear shift.

what can you say about this. I red lit it here, and i almost missed 2nd gear, however, i got it in with some little grinding. look at the slip
I also noticed while going through the drag thread that most of the guys that have their 60' in the 2.2 to 2.3 run approx. 2- 3 miles slower than me.

Red light doesn't matter. I assume that you are attempting to get the jump on the car in the other lane. Maybe you are a bit "anxious" with the clutch.
There are a dozen reasons why the trap speed might have changed. Here are a few that haven't been mentioned.
Were both runs made in the same Density Altitude? Like was one run made during daytime and the other at night?
I've read that if you spin, you might trap a bit higher, and if you really hook, the trap speed can come down a little. But in my experience this has never proven to be true. I have spun a lot and actually trapped lower before.
If you deep stage your trap could be a little lower and if you stage really shallow, it could be a little higher.
Another factor is wind. If you had any difference in wind speed between runs it will impact your trap.
Did you change tire pressure at all between runs? This will surely impact your trap speed. Lower pressure creates more rolling resistance slowing you down.

First of all, if you improve your 60' to say a modest 2.0xx you should drop 4 tenths off your ET, so there is a lot of room for improvement for sure.
Second of all, does your Technosquare ECU increase your redline?
Because most 07-08' Zs have to shift to 4th just before the traps, which make the trap speed read lower. If you have like a 8500 redline you could probably go through the trap in third gear and your trap speed should be higher.
Lastly, I would expect a true 300whp car to trap like 108mph and run low 13s at least. What kind of dyno was that done on?

My redline is 8000rpms and yes it out 302whp on a dyno jet. I can still go through the 1/4 in 3rd. 2nd gear kills me too when I shift aggressively. My clutch hooks perfectly.
I'm not trying to be a d!ck..but if you have over 300whp, why does your time-slip look almost identical to mine??? I was bone stock when I got 13.7 w/ 2.2 60'. And I have to shift to 4th gear right before the finish line, so I trap lower....
