Even with just a stall, he'd outrun the Nismo. With thosee mods, that C5 would run toe to toe with a C6 Z06. It won't see as high an MPH, but ETs will be close.

The Vette he is describing should be putting down ~400 (prolly a little bit more) rwhp...

Would take a large shot of Nitrous to beat the car, assuming equal skill. Alot more nitrous than I would be willing to put thru a stock block VQ.

Forum member and fellow Houstonian, nareg, has a 75 shot on his HR and he dyno'd 357whp with zero issues, and that's with no tune..

With a 100 shot and a tune I'm sure he'll be well over 400whp..

And the C5 has a stall, DR's and gears.

A 100 shot isn't going to do it.

Maybe you should get more practice.

SAR is a horribly prepped track unless its a pro event-then factor in hot humid air at altitude and you get sorry times and traps. Best time I ever got there was 13.9 @101--- in fl I consistently get 13.6 @104-105 with exact same mods I had in san antonio--Ill post slips when I finally nail a better than a 1.95 60ft.

regardless you need many more mods to keep up to that vette

Nice bench race thread. My favorite reply was Davidv's.

BTW, he probably would've beat you stock, especially with your lack of experience at the track. You should've raced anyway for fun.
