Default 1/8th mile times

Hey guys,

I know there is a quarter mile thread but I was wondering if there was a place to post up 1/8th miles or 60fts? We dont have much access to 1/4 mile tracks in Socal. Irwindale is the closest with its 1/8th mile.

We put the drift car on slicks and took it out a few weeks ago and got a pretty good time but i got no where to post it...

Not that I know of but you can start one. Keep in mind that every 1/4 mile time slip is a 1/8 run.

Heres the official time slip.

1.584 60ft

7.319 @ 96.59 1/8th mile

Is there a way to get this added to the official drag race post somehow?

Car sounded sick if it was!

7.1 @ 94mph had to let off right before the 1/8 very briefly, 1.68 60ft IIRC. That was at 490whp, full interior.

OP-post some specs on your set-up....

Cool, the "calculators" show anywhere from 11.3-11.5 in the 1/4. We are using this to try to get more speed out of the car for the long straightaways in drifting... all while having a lil fun. I know we weren't on our drift tires but we wanna see some of the potential this car has...

the car is currently stripped down to the frame going for its final weight reduction. There was nothing left on the car already, but Kevin has already found a couple more lbs in the car, and we got a few new goodies coming for the car for weight savings. Not to mention the new built motor going in in a month or two!

Finally got a 1/4 mile time... not as good as we wanted... we were at the track for 10 hours and only got ONE RUN!!! So we figured we would just start where we left off with the 1/8 mile setup that is posted above. Here is the timeslip from today...

11.954 @ 110.97 mph

You were way off from last time. What was that attributed to?

Regardless anytime you see an 11 second NA Z, you have to be happy with that.

well we only got one shot, so we started where we left off at irwindale setup to try and get a full 1/4 time. but the tires spun a lil in first. it was cold out too.

and no we were not using NOS on that pass.
