Default My first drag event - autoclub speedway in fontana

Well last saturday was my first drag event. It really was my first time at any event like this I didnt even know how to line up at the lights =/. I've had the car for about 3-4 months and never launched it either so its my first time doing that as well. I read all the other threads about people pulling under 14 and it made me really sad .
The track was in Fontana at the Autoclub speedway. It was dry sunny pretty normal california weather. I was running street tires falken ziex 912's on stock 17's but I was too nub to even let some air out....and ran on 3/4 tank of gas but did have the spare tire out. My car is a 2003 enthusiest model with just a CAI
Here are my time slips:

Like I said the first time I didnt know what I was doing off the line lol Im car 1584
I think this might be irrelevant but I have a video of the second run (middle time sheet).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STU7eWAfLPo
I didn't know how to correctly launch so I did a 3-3.5 rev up and feathered.
Any feedback would help thanks everybody.

What lane are you in on the far right slip? Btw, 14s is nothing to be ashamed about.

It was your first time out so your times arent to bad. The more you go the lower your times will get.

You are allowed to circle your car on the time slip. Makes things simple.

If everyone ran 13.8 seconds the first time out there would be little need to practice.

Are you referring to the top-25 above? It took some of these members years to get on and remain on the list. 90 percent of 350Z racers will never make the bump.

<---will also be on the list if it ever stops raining in MD (already ran a 13.48, but slips are MIA )

OP, not bad for a first time out.....what is the elevation of Fontana?

Damn...Just realized how old this thread is.
