Do you guys know how much the 300C SRT8 weighs??? Were not talking about a heavy lS2 GTO that weighs 3600lbs..

4212Lbs!!!!! A 2003-4 350Z will weigh just shy of 1000lbs lighter making a 300Hp V6 Very competitive in a race.

I have a friend with a 300C srt8 and we race all the time, im telling you guys its a drivers race.
They say 1000lbs is offset by ~100hp. (or 10hp per 100lbs)

Less than 1000lbs [wow.. I wonder what 6 inches means to you...] (4160lbs for the 300C - 3339lbs for the 350Z = 821lbs ) difference and 306hp vs 425hp... Hmmm....

werd, I prefer mason if you can swing it.. not a fan of capitol... also we should hit up Cecil.. and put down some good times.. fastest track in MD...

I think your TT makes up for the 2 cylinders haha

also if you nailed your 1-2 shift and really launched.. I def would not have beaten you, but its not worth breaking axles again.. your traps are good for mid-low 12's if not better....

either way we are technically 1-1 given that you beat me at the first track day...

its time to hit up some back road driving FTW anyway

there are hundreds of HPDE events , how many times has a camaro beat a S2k on a course with both drivers being equal in talent. That comparison fails. The ratio is so obscure its not even funny. LMAO bone stock SS camaro vs + race spec miata aroung tskuba lmao ...cmon . Those car are not designed for that type of use. Drag racing is a diff story. You named a car not even mentioning the one this threads about, which is irrelevant. All im saying a srt-8 charger 300C or challenger are not road race curve huggers by any means , and i will gladly take your money around moroso if you wanna put money on it for some HPDE events in moroso this year. LMAO....well go for 3 20 min sessions good luck lmao.

i seen these cars on a reg basis, there native environment there great drag cars, for handeling stock, PASS.

My point was the LX platform handles similar to the F-body and the 350Z handles better (a la S2000)... are we talking stock cars here?

Once again the point was... just because one car handles great doesn't mean that it's automatically a hands down victory on a track (with curves)... parking lot full of cones (Solo) and the better handling car will have little trouble but toss in a track with straights as well as turns and it's not so cut and dry.

A friend of mine owns a 300c srt-8 with boltons ran 12.6@113. I ran him in my CLK55 from a roll to 120+ he got me by 1 1/2 cars. I think they are bricks at higher speeds.
