Sick time you guys got. Sorry to hear about that engine. Man 375 shot, well at least you guys had the ***** to do that. But that's what racing is right? R&D, to find out how to make the car go faster without blowing the engine. Congrats on the time.

hey it's andrew again to answer a few questions.
we are running a completely seperate stand alone fuel system for the ntrous. it has it's own Mallory Hi-flow EFI pump, pickup from the fuel tank, filter, lines, and regulator. if you look in a picture under the hood of our car the reglulator is on the driver's side right next to the headlight.
as for upgrades during our rebuild we're putting in a set of A&E forged high compression pistons that raises compression to 11.1 with the ring lands moved to better suit a nitrous application and we're putting new main and connecting rod bearings to freshen up the engine. the cams also survived the explosion so we're putting them in the new engine also.
i think that's it. i'll try to answer anymore questions you guys have.

Andrew and Dan, I don't know if you've seen these pics that I posted on another thread or not. If you have I apologize but if you haven't...they look pretty wicked! Good luck on your next event!
I don't really think they care that they blew their engines. I'm sure they knew that eventually the limits would be met and something was going to be blown up, not like they found a set of higher compression forged pistons overnight.
