I wasnt expecting it to happen until I got tuned but it did. After many many tries I finally got some perfect racing weather, a well prepped track and a 1.8 60' on my drag radials.



Since my previous PB of 13.4 I got an oil change since I was 1000 miles past due for one last time, my a/c belt broke off last week(it was hanging on by 2 threads lol) and I switch out my battery because my ground terminal was messed up bad. My mods are 1/2 inch MD spacer, X02 exhaust, 3200 high stall torque convertor, DR's, Strup test pipes, Stock air box with the filter removed(ftw) and weight reduction. My best pass with out weight reduction was 13.274@105.There should be some vids up soon. Cant wait to tune this thing!!

was that race(with the G) on the slip you just posted? if so thats a nuty 60' for street tires....

something about that track I am telling you, I was consistently pulling low 1.9 60's all day on street tires when I was there..like fractions of a second away from 1.8's...and that was with 32 psi.... I think cecil is my new favorite track...

 

It was just a combination of good track prep and ridiculous DA's man.....I haven't seen that combo like that in a number of years. Yes, that is the run with denchan350gt. He broke the NA G record with a 13.23@104ish. He is also auto/stall with a few more mods then AJ. His car was full weight though and probably 3500lbs or more.

That's correct, but we were referring to Denchan350gt (the other car on the slip) who was on street tires .

We are going to all try and go again on opening weekend I believe.

At first I wasn't all that impressed, but the track got better and better as the day went on. By 2pm people were heading home and you just swung around and staged up....it was pretty unreal. I think franky is sending me some of the vids....I'll keep you up to date.

I had my everything in my car (spare, sub, heavy cpu bag and seat).

I thought it was going to be a crappy day for me on street tires until I started hotlapping then my times kept getting faster and faster.

When do they open for next season?

 

I lowered my pressure to 25psi, but I agree with the "something about that track" statement.

There was a guy in a red supercharged C5 running 10's, Pontiac G8GTs were running 12-mid 11's, Jeep SRT8s and SS Trailblazers running 12's.

The slowest out of our group was me in a 3700lb (me included) G35 with a 13.23. I will definately be there when it opens next yr on saturdays only, it was worth the $35 for me. I'm sure the other guys agree also.

 

Yeah I am piecing some stuff together that Franky emailed me with you two. I am hoping he has the one with aj's best. I have another one where it looks like runs a 13.31 or something and you a low 13.5. I'll post it up soon hopefully.

Opening day last year for T&T was March 7.

That track is fast no doubt, but I think a whole lot of it was the perfect weather for speed and by the middle of the day, pretty decent track prep.
