But the fact is there 60's are alot better, and their back halfs are not 23 mph. With a 2.4 60' my car still trapped and my back half mph gain was 20 mph. Even with my car with no spare, jack, tire pressure in the rear at 20 psi, 2.1 60', front tire pressure at 35 psi, my car still average a back half of 20-21 mph also on a DA of -880 or something ridiculous like that.

OP are you WOT shifting or coming off that gas?

My car picks up 22-22.5 in the back half....24 does seem pretty unreal.

Just come down to San Jose and we'll do a friendly side-by-side to clear up any doubt about your huge increase in speed over the last 1/8th of the track. We could pop your car on the dyno at Z Car Garage while you're here to see if your car really is said freak, but if you pull on my car with those few bolt-ons and at your weight, you have a freak.

Hmm IDK maybe that 3 inch exhaust is getting it done. I'd definatly like to see a dyno of your car. Nice times btw.

The problem we're having is not your car's launching. We're trying to figure out how the heck you managed to gain 24 mph after the 8th mile. I shift WOT, spin some off the line, and only managed 21 mph. But thats, my 06 with pop charger only.

I'm calling bs on you being in the left lane with your Z. I'm looking at one of my 2.234 60' slips and heres how it looks. BTW I have a base 06 with no spare, jack, and 1/4 tank of gas.

Match my slip with the one on the right and left.

60' 2.234
330' 6.102
1/8 9.209
mph 79.37
1000 11.863
1/4 14.115
mph 100.55

Sorry I'm not seeing that Z in the left lane.

I see that. But it just doesn't make sense. What did you run against? Was it a camaro or civic on the shot? Another Z?

I think that one was against an S2000. He kept up with me until I shifted into third gear which was when I started to walk away from him.

You can see “11” from inside the Z on the windshield. I assume this is “6311.”

60 pounds is the spare and tools. Another 90lbs of gasoline (120lbs is full, he had ~1/4 left). That's a total of 150lbs, and that's a whole lot of weight that you'll feel. And the fact that the guy is light, weighing only 150lbs, can also make a huge difference.

Also, I've seen a stock 2003 6-speed Maxima run a 13.9 @ 98MPH (the norm is usually mid-14s, 93-95MPH). It was complete luck, because he got lucky and stuck to the same hot trail laid down by a 9-second run before him. That could also be the case here. Regardless, the slip says what it says. He did it, no matter what the circumstance was.
