93+ KL03 motor, built to KLZE (J-spec) specs but with higher compression, crazier cams, headwork, and an 8000rpm redline. Was slow as ***** compared to todays standards but back in the day Id whoop up on unsuspecting, non driving import owners. Good times in that $hitbox. Was also gutted, even the sound deadning down to 25XX lbs...

Thumbs up

18.0 seconds for a WIN. Not sure what happened to the car in the right lane. I think the driver tripped the timer then stalled.

I've made well over 150 passes in the past 2 years. I know I did well over 100 in my Cobalt SS/SC and the rest in the 350Z. My best in the 350Z is 13.476 @ 103.8mph stock. My worst was 17 something, I had a killer launch and the clutch pedal stuck on the floor so I just let out and cruised the 1/4.

My G had 0 passes NA but I have 30-40 since TT none since the built motor and I did close to 100 passes in my old SC 94 Mustang. This year i guess it depends on what times i run I hope to get into low 11s 11.3-11.4 I have no cage so i might get kicked off the track . there are only 2 tracks close so i can get a few passes at each get booted of then come back at the end of the year and they won't remember the car so I should get at least 8-10 passes

1 time and it sucked. I now prefer to slide around corners when no one is looking! Much more fun

I first raced at the NIRA finals at Atlanta Dragway in 1998, with my then bolt on 93 Prelude VTEC. I placed second in bracket, made it onto ESPN II and from then on I was hooked. I also road course raced the prelude on a few occasions.

Since, I have made 1,000's of passes, not sure exactly how many.

I raced my 04 350Z probably more than any other car I have owned though, with over a thousand passes on it alone, along with a little road course time. I started off with the car stock, then eventally added a few bolt ons and ran with DR's.

They will never be able to remove all the rubber from the under carriage of that car.lol

I made a few hundred passes with my 07 350Z, which I left stock.

Other cars I have raced included regular daily drivers, when I was bored, or was letting another car take a break.

They include the following, some of which you will laugh at.

93 RX7, which I eventually built with a Greddy T78 single conversion. This was the fastest car I owned, and it was capable of high 11's with a conservative tune. It also saw road course time at Little Talladega.
My wifes old 98 Escort SE 5 Speed.
93 Taurus SHO ATX (Green) Again my wifes old car.
93 SHO MTX (White) I was thankful this car was white, because the air never worked.
93 Taurus SHO ATX (Black) It was the slowest of the SHO's, but reliable when I needed it.
95 SHO MTX (Silver) The fastest of the SHO's as it could run 14's stock and trap over 97 mph.
97 Maxima SE 5 Speed (Beige) It ran a 14.7 stock, eventually it could run low 14's with 3 bolt on's. Should have kept it.
91 3000GT VR-4 TT 6 speed (Burg) It ran a 13.611, but was the most unreliable car I ever owned. The next owner has had it for almost 80K miles since with no problems! Guess I replaced everything.
98 Pontiac GTP (Green) Old reliable. It ran low 14's with a u-bend remove and K&N air filter.
01 Pontiac GTP (Black) It ran 14.3's stock.
97 Maxima SE 5 Speed (Rosewood) It could run high 14's stock, but the knock sensor went bad before I ran it, limiting it's capability. Should have kept it too. I owned a 3rd Rosewood SE 5 Speed, but never took it to the track before selling it and then regretting the sale again. If you ever buy a 97-99 4th Gen 5 speed, keep it, they are very hard to find now, for the right
price and condition. Great daily drivers, and they will go 300K+ miles.

Hmmm, oh yeah, I ran our 2005 Nissan Armada, which ran 14.9's stock with only a few passes. I could have worked it down to a 14.7 or so probably, but I was there to run the Z.

Then there are the cars that I have driven for friends and others, too many too list.

Oh yeah, I have run my G35 sedan recently as well.

That's about all.

^^^Never Sell a 4th gen!! Everybody seems to regret it. Thats why I kept mine when I bought my Z. The only way Im getting rid of it is if I crash it beyond repair. Oh and you sir are a track junky lol.

I have well over 100 passes on my Z. I've been at the same strip for 10 years and taken my 96 Neon, 03 WRX, 91 CRX down it also. In all, probably 500 passes or so.
