Default Balancing drag radials?

Well i was yesterday all day so i told my dad to take my nitto drag radials and mount them on my 17's. So i came home and he tells me he balanced them too... so adding those little weights on there will that make it slower or somn???

Yes. The weights will add to the centrifugal forces required and slow the wheels increasing ET. Its all pretty simple calculus.

The question would be does it make a difference.. (besides the obvious your tires not being balanced). I dont think it would.. how much weight did they add to each wheel? My assumption would be not enough to make ANY kind of difference.

You were what yesterday? "Slower or 'somn'"? What is that? The weights are probably .25oz each. You release more weight in gas than that when you fart. The wheels need to be balanced. I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

also remember that most drag radial are not made to the same spec as road tires in terms of run out. MY DR's could only get soo close with the balance and M&H said thats normal.
