Funny thing is the same day Denchan350gt broke the G record and pulled a 1.88 on street tires......ajcool2 was also pulling mid 1.8's. Just wasn't my day I suppose.

Both were auto's w/stall though....I think the G has a transgo kit as well.

just a basic thought...what psi are you running in your rears. anything above 30 is likely to give you some wheel hop.

figured I'd update this thread. My slips are in the car, however, I cut my new personal best 60' of 2.0 that day. This was with the ebrake technique however I tried a few different techniques and didn't need to use it for the rest of the day. Highest was a 2.15 area so I'm getting the launch down. However with the rain the day before the track naturally sucked. The only times they prep the track is before the big events. Took my dear sweet time shifting into second and spun pretty got and even got some small wheel hop out of third and still mustered a 14.2 @101. The first run felt like it was a 13 but I was disappointed that I still couldn't get there that day. However I have some sticky hoosier rollers for the next trip to the track. I've made a pact to better myself before I add my wet shot
