Can't be compared...my car is most definitely faster than most N/A G35's ( except for the most extreme ) but I know it's still missing something...

There is also another Vortech G35 in the list that ran 13.2@105mph...my car ( with DA corrected ) would almost match that and beat the trap speed...but it's also the slowest vortech.

I have no idea what's wrong with my car. I can see my cars weight ( about 3700lbs with driver ) and the fact that the 5AT doesn't help on the launch being a problem...but damn.....
You would be 3rd for NA G's. Gdriver sucks.......you would think with 2983473280948203884203948203948 moderators/Admins they could update their top 25 list within 7 months, but no.

Turn your traction control off? Im N/A and spin my wheels easily at the track. Your making 100 more hp than me so traction should be a problem.

ya on street tires I could easily chop 86-88mph in the 1/8th.

Your car is not making 349whp regardless of what the dyno says.

What did your car weigh when you ran that? Remember I'm full weight ( on a fully loaded 5AT G35 ) with 20's...lol.

It's the same dyno I've always taken all of my cars and every single car has been on par with what the dyno stated.

My previous Grand Prix put down 357whp on the very same dyno and it went 12.6@111mph weighing only about 200lbs less than my G35 ( 3,300lbs vs. my G's estimated 3500lbs ). The BIG difference between the two was that the GP would LAUNCH off the line ( 1.9 60ft times would be a breeze )....while the G would start off like a snail up until about 4.5Krpm where it would wake up....leaving at least 15-20ft of track laid to waste.

Maybe that's the problem....it lags so badly off the line that it simply wastes precious 1/4 mile time affecting even the trap speed.

My car has always been like this...even bone stock. Do ALL quick 5at cars run stock converters?

It used to be a problem....till I put 285/30/20 Falken tires out back....traction problem disappeared completely.

Also, do you have stock converter and final drive?

Today I pressure tested my car and my BPV was leaking pretty good. Turns out it blew the o-ring behind the poppet valve. I put it back to how it should go and in the very first WOT run it blew back again. I guess it's toast....who uses an o-ring in a BPV anyways? LOL.

I don't know if this will solve my problem but it surely is a problem.

Post a breakdown of the slip

20's can make a big difference, easily worth a few tenths, and a mph or two.

Regardless though, your car shouldnt be trapping less than 110mph

How good is your tune A/F wise?

My car NA went 13.1 @ 107mph with bolt ons and only 262whp

I threw away the time slips...lol.

My A/F ratio is mid 11s throughout the powerband.

Get back out ot the track and just practice. If you cant spin the tires SOME, put more air in them!

People think no tire spin = fast, you actually do need some spin, dead hooking is for top fuel cars, not street cars.

I ran at 35psi and I can't even spin the tires no matter what I do. My previous tire setup ( 275/30 Nitto NT555 ) would spin like crazy and even zig zag...lol.

Anyways...I'm going to fix my boost leak and see what happens.

I'm seeing 10psi up on top...but I'm revving to 7200rpm. My boost gauge is also a $40 Prosports gauge so I'm not to sure how accurate it is.

As for my tune. A/F ratio is in the mid 11's and timing is around 18-19* which isn't exactly on the safer side.

19* of timing is more than I would be comfortable with on a stock block/FI.

I've been at it for about 5000 miles going wot pretty much every day and it has yet to blow...lol. Plus, as the intercooler gets hot the timing starts to decrease automatically so it's cool.

LMAO!!!

i see 10psi if i let it hit the rev limiter at the end of a gear and im revving to 6600 on the same pulley....that timing is high imo..but revving to 7200 isnt safe imo either so far u have held up at least..have u done a compression test on the car?

buy my tires..lol

No compression test but my pcv system is squeeky clean, no oil is present so that's a good sign...lol.

I live in Puerto Rico....shipping alone will slaughter me.

Everyone keeps telling me that 19* of timing is high...almost makes me want to lower it cause I get scurred....lol.

very true on shipping....good luck with the car...u really should have alot more low end imo, as well as make more power, im on 19's..285/35/19 and can spin them till 3rd very easy, crazy you cant spin ur tires, seems very weird your lacking so much bottom end, 20's dont make that that much of a difference....fix that leak...are there any other tuners around you?

low 12's for ur a/f are ok until ur up to around 3.5k rpm then high 11's till redline imo..should bring in some more bottom end power if u are 11's across the board now
