I have made a couple trips to the local drags but am unable to hook with my setup which isn't suprising!!!

I'd like to purchase some rear rims that I can swap out for drag days. I'd like them to be BLACK! Not to expensive I am thinking 16" or 17"

Also what tires should I run?

I have some wheel hop in 1st gear. I don't launch at high rpm. If I do the car really wheel hops and spins through 1st and 2nd.

I have seen stock HR's running low 13's on DR's at my track on 17's... Must be nice!

 

Look at the Top-25 and you will find plenty of street tires running better than 2.0 seconds.

Are you sure you want to jump to a drag radial without more practice?

 

I have done a total of 10 runs with my Nismo and I have tried launching several diff ways. Ultimately I have to launch at low RPM to reduce wheel hop and spinning or I end up with a horrible 60ft and in the low 14's!

 

Try drag racing for 6 YEARS. It gets better.

 

What kind of tires do you have on those Volks? If you say Nankang, I am closing my membership.
