Default Anyone running these tires

I am thinking of getting one of these MT 315/45R16 or P295/50R16.
I'd like a tire that's 27 inch tall but these are the only ones I can find. 27 inch tires in 16's are really scares.
Who's using them? I'd like to know if they will be a straight fit or any modifications/rolling needed.
I am thinking the one might be to wide and the other to tall.

???You have 16" wheels on a Z?
If you actually do,this would be really STRANGE.
Would look awful...Your diameters are no where near correct.

Please leave the drag forum, ok thanks

295/50 in that compound should be plenty. I run a 26.8" tire on the street to make gearing slightly longer. These tires + 500whp = mid 11's on a bad day man...

Those options are for 16's, my car has brembos. Will they fit? I am using the 255/50/16 with RX7 rims at the moment and traction isn't a problem....I'm not launching hard due to stock axles.
However I am hitting 126/127 mhp exits but don't like revving the shat out the car.
Auto boxes were never releast here and no one will ship a 3.3 pumpkin over her.
I can get my hands on either those tire options locally from a importer but if I say yes, I must pay and no returns accepted.

People run 28" tires with rolled fenders, 27" depending on the offset and camber may fit with no modification. I don't recall the FD wheels offsets.

I dont get it, if traction isnt a problem why are you going bigger just for gearing purposes?

Yes, I want to keep in 4th and don't want to rev to 8000rpm doing it. Meatbag posted the revup pump isn't good past 7500rpm.
As soon as I get more $ I'll get upgraded axles

link to revup pump claim? Ive spun mine to 8K multiple times.

If you really want to stay in 4th Id roll or cut fenders and do a 28" tire. Problem solved.

A minimum of 5mm spacer is needed for FD rims to 100% clear the brembos. There is a TON of room left in the fender still, I don't see rubbing as a possibility with any size.
