Well it was definitely a great weekend for drag racing in south Florida. I've been going once about once a month since April this year and the weather has finally cooled off enough to get some negative DA's. Practice makes perfect.

IMO, it's still "stock" but technically it is "modified" because I added an oil cooler.

I knew it was gonna be a good night when my first run was a 13.2 ET. The DA's were about -239 ft towards the end of the night.

I remember a 100% stock hr 350z down to the tire do a 13 it's also verified kinda sad that this isant in the 12's

5 years ago full bolt on DE's had trouble hitting low 13's now we have stock 370's doing it and mod'd ones running low 12's.

Makes me want to sell my $hitbox and go back to NA + weight reduction for reliable fun.

 

I know I can get it down to 13.0 if I start powershifting. Next time....

 

12's, but is it worth it in the end? (this coming from an ex transmission molester) Only you can answer that...

buy some DSS pros and a 3rd gear set and you're good to go mang (at least as far as breaking the drivetrain is concerned, not sure if there are other parts of your car that you're worried about).
