Default NEW PB on street tires, HR

I've been a long time customer of Cecil County Dragway in MD, but I always wanted to try Atco raceway over in NJ, and I'm glad I finally made it out there before this season ended. Overall, I am very impressed with Atco's track, it was sticky as hell and I cut my best 60 foot times to date.

My car is an 08 Base model, and mods are as follows:
Fast Intentions test pipes and catback
Uprev tune from Vince at RT Tuning in Lansdale, PA
4.08 gears in factory VLSD

Rear tires are stock sized 245-45/18 Bridgestone Re-01R set at 26-28 psi.

I got a total of 9 runs in, with the slowest being my first pass of 13.19 and a best of 13.024 @108.19. All done with an exhaust leak and a 28K mile slipping stock clutch on the 2-3 and 3-4 shift.

12-10-11 UPDATE WITH NEW TIME: 13.003 @ 109.02

How much to run and is tech lax like cecil. What time did you get there and was there alot of cars?

Cecil DA last saturday was -1200 Atco had to be lower their elevation is 17ft compared to cecil's 325ft.

There is another track day next saturday at cecil. I'm tempted to try ATCO.

Pat what did your car dyno at RT?

Congrats on the time.

The test and tune last week was only $20 vs Cecil's $35. I didn't notice any real tech but the dude that wrote the number on the car wanted to look at my helmet. It seems like they make everyone wear helmets as the guy in the 18 second Accord wagon was wearing one.

Car dynoed 292 hp and 255 tq on RT's Dynojet. Graph shows before and after of only the tune. I have no baselines before any mods.

nice it about equals out in price with the tolls. How many cars was running when you got there?

Sorry for all the questions just trying to decide if it's worth the trip 10 runs vs 15+ at cecil.

Last time I was at Cecil was when you were there. I got in 25 runs.

I'm gonna say there was 50 cars at the most at Atco. I got there at 11 and left at 3:30.

Looks like atco had an even better DA than us....-1400ish feet. Cecil is already far for me...just can't justify doubling the distance to get to atco.

Video of my 13.00 run. The zoom is very poor so reading the clock is difficult.

Gettin sideways. Lots of wheel hop during my burnout and the result of having tires that are not adequately warmed up.

Nice runs! I'm jealous of those insane DA's.

One question about your tune, did the tuner raise the revlimiter?

Thanks.

I wasn't physically there during the tune but was told over the phone that it was raised, but the guy on the phone wasn't the tuner and he was guessing 7800 rpm limit.

I haven't spent too much time finding the exact limit. On the stock tach, it looks like I'm hitting the limiter at approx 7600. But for all I know, the stock tach could just be laggy...

My tach is like 500rpm+ ahead of reality. I always think I'm crazy over reving until I look at cipher logs.

Nice runs.
