My car always used to hit the stock limiter at the 7500 rpm redline. So I figured it to be pretty on the money.

Atco will be open Feb 25th depending on weather for TnT. Cecil will probably be the following weekend.

I'm down to try Atco if no snow is on the ground.

No updates from me, other than I got a blowout on the highway with a Michelin Pilot Sport with 3K miles. Not too happy about that.

Its winter here and the tracks are closed.

Cecil opens next friday night the 17th. Weather and track construction permitting there is about 4-6 of us going and running.

I'm hoping to hit the tracks soon and get some updates on here.

Yes, I miss the Z, but she wasn't practical when you have 7 kids. I own a 2009 GTI right now, which isn't as fast as the Z was, but gets great mileage and has lots of room. Doesn't take much to make it Z fast either, but for now she is stock. One day I will own another Z, when my kids are older, and I can justify a toy a little more.

I know you are probably wondering, so the GTI ran mid 14's best at the slow Atlanta Dragway, should easily be good for low 14's at the faster tracks. Makes it about a full second slower than my 07 Z was, but even with my old 04 G35 sedan.

07-08's can be had pretty cheap now, you never know what the future holds! The wife wants a roadster, when we eventually do get another one.

Damn sick time! I have an HR, Osiris Tune, Full exhaust and stock intake and cant pull better then a 13.7! And I pull 1.9-2.0 60fts. The track I go to is PBIR (Moroso) which i believe is at Sea Level, if that! Are you slipping the clutch on launch? What RPM? also do you rev out to 4th gear or hit the trap in 3rd?!

If everything you said is true then your problem is shifting. You shift slow. You need practice.

My launches are not very aggressive. I usually start from around 3500 rpm +-500 based on track conditions. With stock gearing, I always finished the quarter mile in 4th gear. With the 4.08s, I am near the end of 4th.

You will not trap more than 105 in third gear on stock gears/stock redline. And also sounds like slow shifting.

111 is a damn good bolt on trap. Should definitely bring a 12 sec slip.

Definitely the shifting. Could be shifting too early too.
