Default No traction at the track

Hey guys, I took my 350z to the track today for the first time, and I was having nothing but problems. Current mods are an intake exhaust and plenum spacer. For some reason, going down the track whenever I hit 3/4 WOT or WOT, the car lost traction and cut loose, very scary. This happened almost every time going down the strip besides the first time. After leaving the track as well at every stop sign my car was peeling out but it stopped after driving for awhile because the gunk from the dragway burned off.

How do I correct this for future drag trips, I would like to actually make a clean run down the strip.

The tires are Nankang Ultra Sports with 75% tred life left. No Time slips posted because all were 18+ because I keept drifting around the drag strip.

Stay out of the water pit at the drag strip if you are. But recommend you post a time slip.

I went around the waterbox everytime. One of my last trials, I babyed 1st and 2nd (Shifted at 4k and barley 1/2 WOT). Then once in 3rd started giving it 3/4 throttle and the car just cut loose and went sideways.

Sounds like there was oil on the track, or it was otherwised prepped like total crap.. also could be your alignment. Eventually I got a set of dedicated track tires (ET streets) and it's so much more enjoyable.

tires will def help, but it still sounds like something was on the track like Djamps said, he should not be getting that loose in 3rd on only 3/4 throttle
