Thanks man. I wish I left the filters out and intake tubes off. I didn't realize there was an all-stock 1/4 mi list.

I'd be mad too if I ran DE times in an 08' Z-even a grandma tranny equipped car. Well done. Bravo.

Thanks for showing up after the party's over. I was confused by your reference, so I googled "Grandma Tranny" and found out where you must have been all night. What's your screen name over there?

I only saw two guys on the bolt-on list in the 12s on stock motor. A 100 shot puts a lot of dudes deep in the 12s.

U didn't shut ish down op. I posted saying that I didn't think there was much to launching an auto. Idk wtf was so horrible about the post. That was not bashing on anything at all. But obviously some drive an auto differently. Holy cow- how something gets turned into something. JeeZ. Take a midol and change the pad. G-dam.

I apologize man. I don't take this stuff serious at all. Don't pay attention to the crap I post. I don't start crap on forums, but if someone screws with me, I'm gonna swing. I'm not ever serious though. Have a good day man.

I just wanted to make sure my questions got answered, and not covered up by a bunch of bandwagon newb bashers who though they found some easy prey.

Its next to impossible to qualify for the all-stock Top-25. You have to be running OEM tires. And who, after say 20,000 miles, is running OEM tires? Few if any members.

No.

VDC off.

DS mode.

Bring engine to 1750-200 rpm with brakes on.

ROLL into throttle.

As you hit 80-90 mph flick your left paddle shifter and hold 3rd gear to redline, it goes to ~105.

I did 13.6-13.7 @ 102-103 mph in my stock 3600 lb. 07 g35 sport 4 door 5at. 115k miles and $90 primewell pz900's on the back, 2.1-2.3 60 foots.

So, your saying the drag stats between a 350Z and a G35 are identical??? Just because someone isn't in that thread doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about.

Yes, note the four VQ35HR G35's stock doing 13.4-13.6 @ 102-103 mph.

http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...arch+DragTimes

My time isn't on there yet, but that would make 4 officially recorded V36 G35's doing 13.4-13.6. That's on part with 5at HR 350Z's for stock.

I was referring to the fact that the G's are heavier and aren't tracked as much as the Z's. So its less likely that G35's would be in the top 1/4 mile times on this forum.

I doubt you'll see this as its an olllld thread but yes it is possible. I ran a 13.2 @108 with a 2.09 60ft on street tires. Only mods are intake, test pipes, etune. I recently picked up a set of nitto 555r, 275x40x17 that dead hooks on so I plan on going back to the track on a cool day and getting my 12 second pass. BTW my car is in fact 5AT

Two simple steps to launching a 5AT:

1) Remove 5At from car
2) Put 3AT (TH400) in car

Quick times ahead!

What time did the R35 end up with?
