Well Nissan Middle East was kind enough to let people race their new GTR's at the strip and I was lucky to be one of the drivers.

All off, launch control activated. The moment I let go of the brake and floored the gas I felt like I went warp speed.

I'm a newbie in drag racing but here's the time slip, and this is the fastest time I've ever gotten at the strip. What do you think? How did I do on a 2013 GTR? A quick google says it can do 10s.

You have to love how this car makes everyone drive well lol.

60ft was actually slow given what they can do.

 

With this car, yea. I was simply shocked, this car is a BEAST, and it's stock!

seriously man. What an experience lol.

Apart from being a noob, I actually drove over the water where these super souped up cars do their burn outs. I didn't burn out. The car struggled with traction for a while before it zapped me into the future.

 

very cool you got do drive one, but its always hard to come up to a GTR driver at the end of a run and tell him things like "good job man that was a great run" because the car basically drives itself.

 

I agree with you 100%. I mean all I had to do was stamp on the gas, and move my fingers a bit to shift gears.

Nonetheless, this car is crazy. Would like to drive her around the circuit one day.

these cars practically drive themselves, but you can t argue with the results. Time would have been even faster if you drove around the water box.

 

Yes true. I was so excited and pumped up, I forgot to drive around the 'water box'.
