Frustrating night to say the least but im content I guess, at least I beat my 12.987 lol
So I fixed my 1-2 shift lock out issue from my previous run then in turn my trans decides to have a serious 3rd gear grind and lock out which really crippled the car the day before I race. Decided to still go ahead and run because if the trans blew I would actually be happy about it so I can finaly replace the piece of **** already.

The engine was running very strong especially considering how many miles it has, im happy with the power output, should easily be able to run a few tenths quicker with a healthy trans without a doubt.


08 Z, 6MT with 114K miles
Mods: Exhaust, K&N Drop ins, 4.08 Gear, Tune, Stock rear suspension, E.T Streets




Weather was perfect Low 50s
Tire Pressure was 16psi
Launched at around 5700RPM give or take
Didn't do a burn out, I forgot which fuse dissabled ABS.

I know I couldve gone 12.7 last night with just a slightly better 60' even with my trans problem. But it just wasnt meant to be lol, next time I guess. Unless my motor blows from all the miles haha

Very nice, makes me wanna pop gears in mine and see what happens. I was hitting 13.3's with a 1.9 60' last time out, but the car wasn't on peak power, still on the nitrous safe tune. Crappy launch and a little spray was giving me mid 12's though, so hopefully I can get a decent launch and jump into the 11's next trip out.

Oh of course not lol , ACT sprung 6puck and flywheel with a southbend pressure plate, HD slave and a willwood master .

 

A car with 114k mileage, broken stansmission & only a few mods. In five years not ONE single HR Z broke into the twelves. You did it twice, and many more to come I'm sure. Maybe it was because of those K & N filters .

Two years ago I took a vacation in Florida. I went there to race with a couple of friends who had 370 Z's.
If you gain a couple of tenths, & your car stays healthy, & I don't die from old age (alot of if's I may take another Florida vacation next winter.
