Default Going to the track for the first time

I'm going to the drag strip for the first time in a week or two and have some questions. My car is an 06 and only performance mods are a Megan y pipe and Megan single exhaust and RJM adjustable clutch bracket. What kind of times should I expect for my first time at the strip? I've owned the car for almost two years and know how to drive it but I've never gone to the track before. I'm hoping to get 14 flat.

High 13's. When you line up, stop right when the second tree light barely comes on. You can shave a couple tenths of a second just by doing that

There are way too many factors to even get close to what kind of ET you'll run…oh FML, why do I even try...

The main (and mostly only) reason i asked is because our local track says anyone running 13.99 or faster has to wear a helmet and I don't have one and don't really feel like buying one unless I have to.

Go buy a helmet ... forget the time, but you should run 13.99 easy unless you do this: Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should.

Alright, thanks guys. I'll probably just buy a used one off craigslist. I don't need a brand new nice one since I don't go that often (it's an hour drive to the closest drag strip that only does it 4 times every 2 months during the summer)
