Jon is bone stock, except he has new tires. I wouldn't be surprised that he beat you in those road conditions because its much easier to launch and drive an automatic more consistently than a manual...

It didn't help that I had snow tires that spun all the way through second no matter how low i launched at... all will be settled once the weather warms up and my summer tires go back on!

Whenever anyone wants to go to the drag strip, let me know, I'll swap out my snow tires for the day. They were absolutely horrible to launch on, as the S2k owner and myself have demonstrated.

 

no offense to anyone but why is it when peoplelose they make excuses i spun too but i still one hmmmm i ddint ahve an excuse when i lost to the wrx went to him shok his hand and said all wheel drive is a great thing

 

because trying to launch on snow tires is equivalent to launching on rocks.

i'm not denying i lost, i was stating that it could have been a bit more fair if i didn't have them on. If two virtually identical cars, one with slicks and other with street tires were racing, would that be unfair? Same idea. Anyway, how about we race again when I get the summer tires back on without the spray?

 

I didnt have a chance to shake your hand because we all split when the cop came out of no where. It was a good run. How much did the wrx beat you by? I wonder what mods he had?

sounds good phil. mid 12z is sick thats what im looking to be running w/o nitrous hopefully low 12z with 35 shot i need my motor. april 25th should be a fun day hehe i love racing and being allowed to race not worrying bout cops is gunna make it so much better. like the song by NWA F____ da POLICE !
