Been pretty dead around here lately. What's everyone doing? Any new ideas. New setups? Anything going on? Post!!!!

I'm getting tired of buying parts to outrun myself...

I haven't been up to much. Bought a house so been busy with that. It's so sad because I have a Motordyne exhaust and Stillen headers sitting in boxes in my garage. I keep saying I'm going to install the exhaust next weekend and then take it to the track. Unfortunately next weekend has not arrived yet.

One day I'll get around to installing them.

Ran a best of 14 flat at 100mph... Doubling up payments to pay off around tax time... Purchase another reliable vehicle... Then buy et street radials, line locks, quaife diff, maybe gears still debating if I want to give up the f.I. dream or not

I hit the drag strip this past weekend way down south. I've never owned a rwd car, only fwd, and awd. With the heat, and my inexperience I wasn't expecting much, just lots of fun. I managed one nice run on the day.

03 Touring Manual
60 ft: 1.95
1/4 mile 14.0@97 mph
Temp: 89F

I had a lot of fun just learning the 350z, this one is an 03 Touring, no mods really, looks like an aftermarket intake of some sort. I really enjoyed learning the shift points, getting used to how the car feels. Tried to avoid the water as much as possible, did spin the tires to remove any water or dirt, but no burn outs.

Shifting into 3rd seemed to give me some shifting woes. I just couldn't get a smooth shift into 3rd, wanted to grind a bit every time. I figured that was just driver error possibly. I was very happy with my pb in this car considering the hot summer day, and my lack of experience in a 350z. On a nice cool day, she could break into the 13's.

I'll be hitting the Drags in November. I've made a few very minor changes.

1. old test pipes were 2-1/4 diameter with resonators, Now ones are 2-1/2 without resonators. Noticable difference.

2. added the RMJ Clutch pedal assembly. I've got a 6 puck and the tires dead hook now, so I need to be able to control the rpm better getting out of the hole. Best 60ft without the RJM was 1.60, so maybe I can improve on it.

My goal is 10.90's @ 129mph

PBIR = palm beach international raceway they are doing an event held by the Street Racing Made Safe (srms) program which is to educate kids on the dangers of street racing I really want to go and show some support but I don't know if I can cause its not too legal to drive with one headlight
It's a quarter mile drag strip seems to be pretty popular should have a decent turn out I believe its 25$ to race which is pretty cheap

6PSI Spring on a godspeed kit. I'll estimate low at 335whp

Man it is a long way for you.

Bradenton Motor Sports Park http://www.bradentonmotorsports.com

Mostly I've gone 1-2 times a year between Nov and March

But, last season I made it 3 times, and plan to do the same this year, starting October 19

I need 10's .......

whats it usually cost to race cant seem to find that info, say on any ordinary day like T&T?
