I actually think that if i ran the 24.5 slicks down there i might have just been able to run a 12.9
dunno though... We are going back probably in Sept. or November.

dunno if i'll have the same mods by then but we'll see.
either way, its cool to see. Too bad you didnt hit 12's.

where did you race.

I was very impressed with ol siths times. He is driving that car better and better each time he goes out. I still think it has a high 12 in it so only time will tell. You guys need to convince him to throw the bottle on this car too. Can we say 11s

the nhra just released new rulesabout street cars, as long as you are running dot tires, no power adder, and stockish motor, you are good to 11.50 with any street car...in so many words anyway

you have to run they specific class they designated for these new rules.. it does'nt apply to all classes, only the new pure stock class they made.. also, no et streets even though there dot tires..only drag radials.. so now even stock convertibles can go as fast as 11.5 if there are within the rules for that class.. gonna **** alot of guys off that run older cars or modded cars that go into the 11's without a roll bar and are told to slow down or leave tech guys should have fun at the tracks this year... jay

Sith - I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see the video. Congrats thats awesome. I have the Injen CAI, Kinetix V4 Plenum, and 19" wheels and I ran a 14.6 at 2000ft elevation in crappy weather. Somebody did the calculations for me and that adjusted to a 14.0 at sea level in good weather. I have the Injen exhaust and Kinetix cats waiting to go on as well. Hopefully I can get into the high 13s up here in Vegas. Nevertheless, damn good run.
