Default 11.031 @ 125.03 MPH at Maple Grove, VA

Well the weekend did not turn out to be the best Mother Nature had to offer, on our first chance to qualify and andrew (with a slow roll off the line, under the direction of George Ioannou) ran a team best.

Congratulation ! Andrew

11.031

R/T .698
60 foot 1.735
330 4.790
1/8th 7.202
mph 100.95
1000 9.269
1/4 11.031
mph 125.03

we will have to wait till Florida to get our first 10 second run!

We went to our second qualifing round confident the 10 second club would have it's first member, but a hose clamp on the intercooler popped off after the burn-out, and with only a few cars left the race director held off the next class as long as he could.

Lesson, bring a wrench to the starting line everytime.

Then the RAIN came..... in buckets... we arrived at the track Sunday to find the return road under 5 feet of water...and all runs cancelled...

So we hung out with our new friends from VA and two sweet R-33 skylines, and a silvia ..ate, and packed up to go home...

Congrats on the progress. How much whp does that car make and at what boost level? Also how much does it weigh? And why did Andrew roll it off the line? A 1.7 60ft is pretty good for an easy launch what are you expecting to hook low 1.5's ?

we ran the car on the dyno before leaving and it made 471 WHP at 14 PSI

why roll off the line( well, not roll, but not too hard )

we had the # 1 Street tire Supra next to us, and george wanted andrew to "let him go" and focus on the shift points and hitting his mark with the new 8000 rpm light. bumped up from 7200.

we had another few runs on Friday night and we ran the following

11.739
128.87 MPH

11.275
128.41 MPH

11.716
125.66 MPH

so the car ran well, but we made a few adjustments to get to 11.03 and we were still pulling with he it the rev limiter...

too bad we did not get to go again... see us in Florida Aug 14th and 15th....

Good luck, the weather here is horrible. if it doesnt rain you are looking at temps in the 90's with high humidity....roughly 2000-2500' DA's. You will probably be running a good .3-4 slower here right now than in decent weather. I know I am.

Congrats! Those are such great numbers! Wish you guys were closer to the west coast so some of us would get a chance to see it in person.

What have you done to the car internally?

Great stuff, thats what I need to keep me working for faster times.

I did a 12.5 on a 30 shot yesterday so my 11's are coming it was just too hot a day to go for it. Certainly don't expect a 11.0 but I sure would be happy with a high 11.

What kind of turbo were you guys running? And damn 14 PSI's. Cause I am getting my Greddy TT kit and I need some assistance in tuning maintaining it. I want at least 350 RWH.

Those trap speeds are kind of high for 471 rwhp. Did you guys do some major weight reduction? 3100 lbs with driver?

I'm curious how you can safely do 8K rpm. Did you put in those Nismo race parts?

some answers:

Jay the pro car is comming, we will test and tune it before it make it's first track event. Keep posted, i'll let My350Z know FIRST.

We have a modified engine, and 8000 RPM is well with in the range she can handle...

128 MPH is our best trap speed to date, hope to have better news after the 15th in Moroso Park Florida...

weight- the car is not much lighter then 3100 lbs. we have to be for the class we run in...

in south Florida and want to see us Run, go to Moroso Motorsports Park the weekend of August 14th and 15th.. NOPI/NDRA drag Racing...

Peace
