nice work boys! Looking forward to seeing some 9 sec slips in the near future. I know that things got a lot more in it than 10.3s, keep tuning. BTW hows that new mustang dyno, what were the #'s before this run? Good Luck

the bottle is long gone, they have moved to a built motor and turbo.

ah

well in that case, i wonder if a guy here will give you a run for your money.

on stock bottomend with minimal boost it went 12.2 at 118 on drag radials

he is breaking in the built motor and will run 17 pounds... almost 3 times what he was running.

we hit the end of the line with the IHI / PE Turbo kit...

the engine and turbos get re-done for Texas.. more info in the morning

21 + PSI and the turbos held up for the three run...

still have to get the 60 foot down, (we are fitting much bigger tires) 60 foot was 1.86...

hey everybody it's andrew. just wanted to give you all specifics.

jay, we are putting a th400 in the car, we're starting the work on that today actually.

our 60 ft' were alot better than that last run. we were running consitent 1.6s all weekend but on that last run we lowered the 2 step another 100 rpm but the track was stickier than expected.
out best 60 ft was 1.64

we are pulling a maximum of 22 psi with those little ihi turbos that come with the PE kit.

keep in mind this is a stock driveline. we have the tilton clutch but it's stock gearbox, stock driveshaft, stock rear, nismo lsd, and stock halfshafts. we switched from stock rubber to hard bushings in the rear (thanks 350evo.com) suspension as well as the subframe and it cured the problems we were havin breaking halfshafts.

other than that the car ran like a raped ape all weekend, if we could have gotten the 60ft down our et's would have been a helluva lot better but we're def makin the power as you can see by the MPH.

oh and by the way we just did a pull on the dyno about 20 mins ago to see what kind of power we were makin.

drum roll please.......................
670 rwhp at 6500
700 rwtq at 5000

check out the FI forums for more details, bluefish will be postin them.

thanks
Andrew

whats the car weigh right now? i'm sure you got it down right above the class minimum....

the cars flying now, but it will really be moving once your leaving off a transbrake...if it does'nt start breaking rears and shafts(knock on wood)..

good luck with it..

jay
ps, how the progress on the other car coming?

Yep, the 60 foot is the only thing keeping you out of the 9's.

I hit a 1.6, but averaged 1.7 60' times with my old 452 h.p. FD.

You should be able to hit a 1.4-1.5 with that kind of power.
