As I got to the track tonight I saw another Z running, apparently hit the wall or something not sure what happened. ANy1 on here?

 

I was there, I was the Acura CL-S racing him. By the 330' mark his time was way off and as I crossed the 1/8th mile I saw his brake lights in my rear view mirror.

The body damage wasn't too severe. Rear bumper, passenger fenders, door maybe. The front suspension is totally screwed up though. He's lucky he didnt' hit the wall head on. He has his girlfriend in the car with him too. I was just browsing the forum looking for a video of it.

 

Hmm that sucks, wonder what happened. Your car is very quick I was impressed. What have you done to it?

 

WTF .... a track lets you run with passengers?

Did this happen last Friday the 22nd?? I was going to go, but I thought it would rain. What color/trim Z was it? Was it a fat kid in a Brickstone Z with Tanabe exhaust? Maybe a Daytona Blue Z with a Stillen front and exaust? There are a lot of Z's in this area with tools driving them....

 

haha, I never saw the car up close but it looked black, I guess it could have been brick..but ya it was last friday. I will prob. be there again this friday weather permitting.

 

i dont know how to get there or id go that and the fact that rumors i hear are you have to be 18 when im only 17 life sucks o well this july ill find my way to the track i hope untill then i can just look pretty

 

Didn't think you had to be 18 ...maybe to sign your life away? But I would be surprised if they checked. Give it a shot. Its real easy to find anyway.

 

When I was 16 I started drag racing there, my dad had to come up and sign a waiver and they gave me a minors liscense to race for the season. What I hear you can do though-have a friend, guy or girl doesnt matter who is over 18 tech your car in and get a wristband. Then have them drive it into the pits, and cut off the wristband and tape it on you. Then you race your car----you didnt hear this from me

And BTW, Larry the main tech in guy for test-tune always checks peoples liscenses...

 

Capital raceway is ridiculous. There were a couple of times about 3 years ago where I ran on a revoked driver's licence. Nobody even checked to see if I had a licence. Ive even witnessed people running their cars after getting pi$$ drunk in the parking lot.
