THE SAME THINGS WERE SAID ABOUT HIP-HOP. Some people only see their eyelids when something (alternative) is thrown in the mix.

"We believe drifting has no place in motorsport, or in any form of popular culture. It's a careless and dangerous practice that attracts immature and uneducated people, and encourages them to handle a vehicle in an irresponsible manner."

lol and speeding of any kind is not dangerous?

If he made a point about the pollution it causes I might of seen his site as a legitimate "save the planet" cry.

what a hater.

Wonderful. Everything encourages people to handle vehicles in irresponsible manners. Drag racing anyone? How about street racing in general?! There is far more people killed in street racing than in drifting, yet all he has to talk about is drifting.

Obviously he got owned by a drifter and couldn't take it so he made a site.

Quote: . You must be a clean and polite driver as much as possible.

Anyone that has played Gran Turismo 3 or 4 knows that this ain't gonna happen with that AI

Besides, drifting is an art and a display of total control over a cars handling. Drifting demos and competitions are akin to the Blue Angels squadron. This kind of "It's risky and I don't like kids doing it, so it must be banned" attitude is exactly what's wrong with this country. If you say "ban it" kids want to do it more. The reason it's risky is because kids think "he has a 240 sx, I have a 240 sx, I can do this" and since proper drifting tracks and driving schools are few and far between, kids do it on public streets and parking lots, etc. not thinking about consequences. THATS HOW KIDS ARE. Stop telling them that they can't do it. START telling them that they can't do it because this road is not smooth, you need better tires, that suspension is crap, whatever. And why does my town have three seperate parks for basketball, four for baseball, school playgrounds, and a skate park yet no driveing park? Why is my hobby/sport different? The point is, stop complaining about how uneducated people are and start educating them, give them someplace to do this, and shut your pie-hole you damned ****!
