Hi guys,
I drove Cheston's car on Sunday... Here's my opinion on his car.
His car was very easy to feint, even on 275+ rear tires, but here's some things I have to point out:
- I could not e-brake or clutch kick, as clutch is stock and ebrake is on aluminum hats that can't take abuse while pulled at speeds.
- The alignment settings are "unknown". I think the toe is off just enough to make the car very responsive, although at full-lock I have little steering control.
- The front end of the car needs a lot more camber and caster, to add more control. Again, at full counter I had to play a lot with throttle AND braking to make sure the car is coming in at the right line and angle. Normally with high HP cars you'd just control with throttle...
- The anti-roll bars helped a lot with weight transfer, so the car feints easy.
- The brake setup locks up easy when sideways; I flatspotted the front tires way too much and my steering would dissappear whenever I come in hot and am unable to scrub off speed due to braking.
- If I had my way with the car, I'd have more camber in front, up the spring rate ~20%, drop 300lbs off the car, and try some 295 tires. Oh, and be able to clutch kick AND ebrake.
And generally-speaking, his car would be fine on a road course, but for drifting I would have prefered more extreme settings.
There are plenty of instructors available, people just have to be brave and ask for help.
And lastly, I am available to sing at your weddings for a nominal fee.

Hahaa, I actually like the big *** shifter. Prolly very very easy to flick into gear. I'd a big fan of really tall shift sticks, as I am used to handling my own (haha bad joke I know ._.). But, yeah i'm serious I'll buy one... Tell him to hook me up!
